1 hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson all about acid attacks, what they are, why they are on the increase and how we can immediately treat someone until an ambulance arrives. The lesson includes an hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets.

PSHE 5 HOURS of new, editable lessons (3 lessons, one is an hour long and the others are two hours long) - This mini unit includes:
1) 2 HOUR Lesson Diversity, Culture, Equality + Identity, covering British Values, community cohesion and more - a lesson investigating what we mean by our identities - from our nationalities and social identities and how we are all equal in Britain, to our cultural, gender and personal identities (hobbies and interests). Students explore the environmental and inherited factors which shape their identities, create a personal identity display and complete debate, clip, analysis tasks and more. All editable, plenty to get through. Perfect for PSHE, Citizenship, Tutor Time or British Values for KS3 or as a recap / drop-down focus for KS4.
2) 2 HOUR PSHE lesson all about the meaning of equity and equality, the differences between the two concepts and how each of them is used to promote fairness in society. Throughout the lesson students will evaluate the pros and cons of both of these ideas (equality of opportunity vs using equity to reach equality of outcome). This lesson is best suited to KS4.
The lesson includes card sorts, literacy-based tasks, analysis tasks, clip and discussion tasks and much more.
3) 1 HOUR PSHE lesson all about stereotypes and stereotyping. Students will investigate what these terms mean, how stereotyping can be harmful and why humanity developed the ability to make quick generalisations about groups. Students will investigate the case of Ethel, an old lady who loves her teenage grandchildren, yet can’t help stereotyping teenagers as a potential danger to her when she passes them on the streets. Students will explore why this is, how the mind works and how stereotypes evolved originally to help us avoid threats, but can be detrimental when applied to societal groups in the modern world. Best suited to KS3.

Bullying KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities could easily be adapted to suit students in Year 1.
In this lesson, the children will learn how to identify and address bullying in its various forms. The students will reflect on One by Kathryn Otoshi, before using their knowledge to create an anti-bullying poster.

Making Good Choices EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about good and bad choices, and how we can decide upon the right thing to do. The lesson includes a sing-along starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.

The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 8 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so.
The Drop Down Day covers an introduction to British Democracy, how laws are made, British Identity, British Liberties, a history of British Democracy and Tolerance in modern Britain.

Love and Romance (falling in love and romantic feelings) PSHE / RSE lesson. Created in 2024 to cover both the DfE and PSHE Association’s current guidelines. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow, with a variety of activities, from scaffolded written tasks, clip tasks, creative tasks, active tasks, case study analysis and much more. Lesson plan included.
Students will investigate what it feels like to fall in love and have romantic feelings, what exactly is going on in the brain to cause us to feel this way, how it can present problems, make us act differently, and how to handle feelings appropriately. They will examine real life case studies from teenagers who have fallen in love, the problems this has caused them and how they have coped with hurt and rejection as well as happiness. This lesson is aimed at KS3.

Year 6 - Sex Education
Starting a Family - How Do Loving Families Have Children?
In this lesson, we will revisit what we learned earlier in the year about human reproduction, as we look at this topic again, but this time in the context of loving and intimate relationships.
We will discuss the concept of family, what it means to start one, and some of the different ways loving couples can show commitment to one another. This discussion will lead to the different ways loving couples (including same-sex couples) may decide to have children if they wish to start a family together.
We will touch on topics such as adoption, IVF, and surrogacy, and explain that, for most couples, babies are conceived naturally when a man and a woman consent to having sexual intercourse.
The process of natural conception (including sexual intercourse) will be explained to the students in an age-appropriate and scientific manner. We will also briefly mention that, for many grown-up couples, sexual intercourse is a way to express their love for each other.
As always, this lesson is fully editable, allowing you to make any adjustments that you feel would better suit the needs of your students, in accordance with your parent consultation.

PSHE Lesson, 1 hour, detailed and well differentiated lesson all about Personal Safety in a variety of situations. The lesson focuses on dangerous or risky situations teens may encounter when out and about as well as when they start living independently in the wider world. It includes a detailed PowerPoint, worksheets, differentiated clip tasks with questions as well as literacy focus and debate tasks. It could be used either for KS3 or KS4, but was created with KS4 mostly in mind. Everything is editable. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.

A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about maintaining a healthy and balanced diet. The session investigates the different food groups we need to be healthy and in what proportions, as well as why we can’t just take a vitamin pill to get the nutrients we need and why we are recommended to eat five portions of fruit and veg a day. The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. The slides in the previews are just a sample and not the whole session.
